There are names that contain within them a lot of meaning, names that immediately take you back to a cherished period of time in your life. «Patou» is one of those names, a jewel that holds within it a treasured piece of childhood, an unbreakable connection to family.
When we were thinking about creating the company, we didn’t hesitate for a second on the name that would define us. The term perfectly captured the project, and was the icing on the cake!
Patou Pallars has a spirit of its own that encapsulates our family business in this corner of the planet that really feels like our home. Our wish is to host and bear witness to special and magical times, like those we experienced ourselves, for everyone who comes to visit.
Our story
The word «Patou» comes from my father, a concept uniquely his. Something extremely natural he uses. It’s simply a way of speaking. I can’t conceive of my father without saying it. It’s not just a word, but also an experience of living, feelings, memories… all rolled into one.
It encapsulates experiencing the happiest times of our childhood, a time of life spent with family, and of having come here to Pallars Sobirà.
